Long ride on Saturday 7-31

Postby spm10 » Mon Jul 26, 2010 10:24 am

I have a 4hr ride on Saturday if anyone wants to join me. I am currently planning on leaving out of the North Park boathouse at 7 am, but I am open to suggestions if anybody wants to doing something else.

Are you, sean, or anyone else, up for trying the ride out of Chartiers Valley High School in Carnegie this Saturday morning? I believe I should have my new bike today and I don't plan on riding tonight and getting injured again so I swear I will be there this time.

That sounds good to me. It will be nice to ride a different route. What time do you want to start? Does 7 am work for you?

7 am works. By the way, the fort pitt tunnel outbound is closed starting tonight through the weekend so there is a detour onto saw mill run boulevard. I'm not sure where you are coming from but if you are coming from the north this will affect you. You can find the info on any pittsburgh news website i'm sure.

I am coming from Shadyside so I am planning on going up through the liberty tunnel to try and avoid all the detour mess. I may run little late if I get lost, but I will try to make it by 7.

No problem. Looks like it is just me and you. I'm supposed to do 90-100 miles so I'll see if I can convince you to do 2 loops once we get rolling.
